Men and women are turning to CoolSculpting for fat freezing in Regina when their hard work of dieting and exercising isn’t giving them the visible results they want to see in their shape. Because CoolSculpting is the only FDA-approved non-surgical fat removal method, people trust that it’s a safe and effective procedure, and it’s one that Pasqua South Medical Aesthetics is proud to offer!

To help our clients get a better idea of what the CoolSculpting process is all about, here’s some handy information about what to expect before, during, and after a treatment.

Before beginning your CoolSculpting treatment, we’ll discuss your specific needs and the areas you want to focus on. Some of the common areas people get CoolSculpting treatments on are their inner thighs, stomach, love handles, or rear. We’ll also go further into detail about what the process entails, and answer any additional questions you might have.

When your CoolSculpting procedure begins, a trained clinician will apply the gel pad and the applicator to the intended target area. This applicator essentially freezes fat in this area before the body naturally flushes it away, which means there’s no chance of these frozen fat cells returning.

During the first five to ten minutes of your treatment, you may feel intense cold before the area goes numb as the procedure continues. Most patients find the treatment process quite relaxing, and often choose to read or listen to music while their fat is frozen! Most treatments take between 35-60 minutes, and some patients only require one treatment, but this depends on the plan you and your clinician decide on.

You can resume your normal activities immediately after your CoolSculpting treatment. Some patients have mild bruising, redness, and swelling in the targeted areas, but this tends to subside within a few days to a few weeks. Some patients notice the great results of their CoolSculpting in as little as three weeks, but you can expect your best results between one and three months.
